Food Truck Catering in the Inland Empire
Mexican, Asian, and Mediterranean food cooked to order on the truck for Inland Empire weddings, office lunches, backyard parties and festivals.
The Lime Truck caters events across the Inland Empire, including Riverside, San Bernardino, Temecula, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario and Corona. We pull up with a working kitchen, cook every order fresh at the window, then clean up when service ends. Your guests eat food that was made a minute ago, and you get to enjoy your own event.
We've been cooking for Southern California crowds since 2010. Chef Daniel Shemtob started the truck in Orange County, and a year later we won Food Network's Great Food Truck Race. We won it again on the All-Stars season in 2021.
Inland Empire events we cater
Weddings and rehearsal dinners. Vineyard weddings in Temecula, ranch and estate receptions, cocktail hours and late-night tacos after the dancing. Our wedding catering page covers menus and planning.
Office lunches and company events. Team lunches, employee appreciation days, all-hands meetings and holiday parties for businesses around Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga and Riverside. See corporate catering.
Birthdays, graduations and backyard parties. Guests walk up and order for themselves, so one truck feeds the whole crowd. Our private party catering page has the details.
Festivals, film sets and brand activations. We cook for public events, production crews and branded experiences. See festival catering and film and production catering.
Breakfast events. Breakfast tacos and the Epic Breakfast Burrito for early call times and morning meetings. See breakfast catering.
We cater crowds of 500 guests and up. Tell us your guest count and we'll plan the food and crew around it.

What's on the menu
Every event is built from our catering packages, and each one can be customized:
- Taste Le Truck Package: our most popular, and it's unlimited. Guests can come back for more tacos, sides, drinks or churros.
- Signature TLT Package: one trip to the truck per guest for two tacos or an entree, plus a side, guac, and chips and pico.
- Taco Package: two tacos plus house chips and pico. Simple and fast.
- Breakfast, appetizer and a la carte options for morning events and cocktail hours.
Crowd favorites include the Rojo Chicken Taco, Sweet and Spicy Steak, Seared Ahi Tuna and Mr. Potato tacos, with Mexican Street Corn, Legendary Brussels and churros on the side. The full lineup is on our menu.
Every menu has vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options, and we can plan for dairy-free, soy-free and other dietary needs if you tell us your numbers ahead of time. Our plant-based menu covers the vegan side. We cook with zero seed oils through our partnership with Zero Acre Farms.
How booking works
- Send your event details. Use our catering request form to share your date and start time, venue address, rough guest count, event type and any dietary needs.
- Get your proposal. Our team usually replies within 24 hours with availability and a custom proposal covering menu, timing and price.
- Lock the date. A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date. We book first come, first served, so the first deposit on a date holds it.
- We confirm the spot and timing with you or your venue.
- Event day. We pull up, set up, cook, serve and clean up.
For Inland Empire weddings and large events, reaching out 6 to 12 weeks ahead is ideal. Smaller parties and office events usually work with 3 to 6 weeks. December holiday dates go fast, and we never charge a last-minute premium.

Planning around Inland Empire venues
A lot of the best event spaces out here are outdoors: vineyards, ranches, parks, backyards and office lots. Those work well for a truck because the kitchen drives in with us.
What the truck needs:
- A flat, level spot about 30 feet long and 12 feet wide
- About 14 feet of overhead clearance so the service window can open
- A standard outlet, or room for us to run a quiet generator
Low parking structures usually don't work, so let us know if your venue only has garage parking. If your venue or property manager asks for a certificate of insurance or a vendor form, we'll send what they need. If your event is open to the public, mention it in your request and we'll go over what applies.
Drop-off catering without the truck is available in Orange County only, so Inland Empire events are served from the truck.
What goes into your quote
We don't publish flat rates. Each quote is built from your event:
- Guest count: this drives how much food and how many crew members we bring.
- Package or menu: an unlimited package costs more per guest than a one-trip taco package.
- Service time: many packages include two hours of on-site service, and longer service can be added.
- Day and season: minimums vary by day of the week and season, and we'll tell you the current minimum when you ask.
- Location: we come to the Inland Empire from our Southern California locations, so travel to your venue is part of the quote. We spell it out up front.
